R.R. 8854 (100 T) N.H. 788. 10-12-20: G: 2947 EFC5/T10.10.21. -2- Contd. Messrs. Peto & Radford say they can supply us with a battery of the shorter type, but they do not recommend this because it has the plates crammed together without the proper acid space. You may remember that we had some information about the desirable relation of acid volume to plate volume from the Chloride Co., and we look upon the liberal proportion of acid volume to plate volume as being very desirable, reducing, as it does, the range of density variation.
