<7961 Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}20/KW. 27th December, 1934. H.{Arthur M. Hanbury - Head Complaints} Thompson, Esq., Middleton Hall, Kings Lynn. Dear Mr. Thompson, I have written to Lord Rothes and told him that you may call him up direct with reference to your car. His business address is 80, Clapham Road, London, S.W.9., and the telephone number is Reliance 2662. Your chassis will not arrive at the Coachbuilder's until the beginning of February, and it is not much good going down to be fitted for a seat until it does get there because it has the special steering column. I think perhaps the best thing to do is to wait until you hear from me that the chassis has left the Works, and then fix up. Whilst you are in London you can of course decide upon colour and upholstery. If you want to look at other bodies I am sure Lord Rothes will be very pleased to arrange this. If you manage to come to Derby in January we can talk this over. Yours sincerely, | ||
