Apart from this matter of re-arrangement we should like to draw your particular attention to the various sections and illustrations marked in red ink, these being the parts which are different from the previous Instruction Book due to various alterations to the chassis. Arising out of our sending of proofs to Sales, Mr. Hanbury has submitted a list of suggested alterations to the book, many of which we have indicated in the proof. There are a number however in connection with which we should like to have your remarks. These are as follows :- Page 13. Paragraph 5. Is not 15 or 20 priming strokes too many? Page 24. Paragraph 2. Either in this paragraph, or where shock absorber adjustment is described, some indication must be given of the approximate adjustment for absorbers. I am sure it is useless to expect all owners to write to the Works for this. Page 25. Paragraphs 4 & 5. Should not low tension platinum points of both ignitions be attended to more often than every 5,000 miles? Page 28. Paragraph 1. I recommend some words of caution should be inserted as to the rapidity with which the whole tank full of reserve oil will discharge itself into the base chamber when given a little pressure. It is easy to waste a lot of oil into the base chamber in this way. Page 49. Paragraph 2. (4). Do we not now recommend .035 for battery plugs? R R L'TD. (Csy L.)
