to Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} from Ev.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} copy to [REDACTED]. ORIGINAL EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}2/24.9.28. X5260 T7260 RE BONNETS. PHANTOM AND "SS.{S. Smith}" The views which Mr.Royce has expressed with regards to the bonnet of India 3, car 12.G.4. also apply to the bonnet of E.A.C.7. car 14.EX. We believe that the new bonnet which has already been standardised for the Phantom would fulfill his requirements, but since neither he, nor any one from "W.W". has never seen a car having such a bonnet, we are not able to judge with confidence. Before instructing "SS{S. Smith}". we would rather like to clear up this matter, and suggest that if you know of a car it might be wise to bring it down to "WW", as soon as possible. As you are aware, we are about to put bodies in hand which makes the matter more urgent still. Mr. Royces views of the Inia 3. are given in EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/24.9. 28 and N.Sch.2723. gives a comparison of variuos bonnets. EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} [Signature] | ||
