Questioning if a non-inductive resistance across the dynamo field would stop sparking on the charging switch, and requesting an experimental observation.

Ought there to be a non-inductive resistance across the dynamo field to stop sparking on the switch with a view to avoiding burning of the contacts - i.e. will you make an experimental observation of the sparking of the switch when the charge is stopped at full dynamo load? This has been brought about by the green light scheme much more frequently than previously.
