No1143. Car Radio SECRET. To EV.{Ivan Evernden - coachwork} from E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} E.3/HP.26.1.35. c. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/ED.{J. L. Edwards} By/RD. re 32-EX. Body. With regard to the attached memo Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}9/KW.11.1.35, I believe we decided that as 32-EX will be an owner driver car the wireless set should be tuned from the facia board and to avoid a long and flexible control we would also have the wireless set itself located close to the tuning knobs in the space usually occupied by the cubby hole. The speaker would be located in some other position where convenient. In this event we should prefer to have the Phillips set mentioned by Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/FD.{Frank Dodd - Bodies}9/KW.11.1.35 fitted to one of the later SpectreCodename for Phantom III bodies.
