W/S. To C. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} (Handwritten signature 'AAS' is written over 'from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}') X.3895 (Handwritten) RE. TYRES. HS{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}2/LG8.2.21. Whilst I was in the U.S.A. I found that our R-R Company there were buying Goodyear or Goodrich straight-sided tyres at 192 dollars for a set of six covers and 22 dollars for a set of six inner tubes. This price appeared to me to be very cheap compared with what we pay over here for the same tyres. I understand there is no duty on the tyres to come over to England. Could you let us know what we actually pay for Dunlop tyres 895 x 150. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
