X500a G.W. Hancock, Esq., Rolls-Royce Ltd., Claremont Road, Cricklewood, London, N.W.2. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}11/KW.27.6.36. When discussing clutches with you I forgot to mention that we find that the finish of the flywheel on Bentleys and 20/25's is not sufficiently good. This is being improved on production. Borg & Beck's say that unless the flywheel is practically polished, the clutch is likely to judder. Therefore in cases of complaint, at the same time as fitting the new clutch plate we polish up the flywheel with fine emery cloth.
