With reference to your memo. Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}/GWH.{George W. Hancock - Head Chateauroux}8/N.20.1.39.

Can you please supply as soon as possible, an average bore wear figure taken on a number of cars fitted with the close clearance piston EB.3151.

This is to compare with similar figures taken with the previous piston EB.2844 on customers cars.
