r6021. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Wst.S/JH. 13th May, 1936. G.{Mr Griffiths - Chief Accountant / Mr Gnapp} R.{Sir Henry Royce} Minchin Esq., Messrs. Peto & Radford Ltd., 50, Grosvenor Gardens, London, S.W.1. Dear Mr. Minchin, In reply to your letter of the 11th instant, it is quite true that P. & R.{Sir Henry Royce} is in temporary eclipse on car batteries and I was about to write to you on the matter when I received your letter. We shall probably require from you a battery of the G.L. type until we have completed further tests on the HZ plates. With regard to the light weight Bentley battery, we do not intend to standardise this for some time until exhaustive tests have been carried out. I feel it would be better if either yourself or Mr. Chapman could visit me to have a chat on the battery question in view of the fact that at the moment the orders are going to Exide. Yours sincerely, | ||
