again compare notes and hold a meeting on Tuesday the 22nd November at H.D.A., which should, once and for all, settle the questions appertaining to analysis and hardness of AC.9 material.

Mr. Wheeler during the discussion stated that he was fully under the impression that H.D.A. and Wellworthy had been given full Foundry procedure and practice in relation to this bearing material, as certain question were asked, and which we had put forward on the Agenda for discussion, which should be covered by the information which he was under the impression we had, but both Mr. Richards and ourselves were able to state that we had never, at any time, received any such information. Mr. Robotham asked Mr. Wheeler whether he had turned up any such correspondence or any memo in relation to this, but Mr. Wheeler stated that he hadnot been able to find any record of it having been sent. Mr. Robotham therefore said that as far as he was concerned, Rolls had not forwarded such information and it was therefore to be got out immediately and sent to us.

I believe I am right, and I think Mr. Watkinson and Mr. Plummer, and Mr. Richards of H.D.A. will agree with me in my impressions which are as follows - that Rolls do not work as strictly to all points regarding analysis and hardness as we suppose. Mr. Hall stated that they do not like to get bearings
