Dear Sir,

We have received your letter concerning the petrol gauge which you have fitted to your car.

We do not wish to put you to the trouble of bringing a car up to Derby but suggest that you send us details as to the principle on which the gauge operates and drawings of the gauge.

This would enable us to judge whether it would be adoptable to our chassis and if so we would then like to see the instrument.

Yours faithfully,

FOR ROLLS-ROYCE LTD.
