Alteration of a Sedanca scuttle by coachbuilder Hoopers for chassis 14-G-4.

X.5260 X.5830 Further to our EV{Ivan Evernden - coachwork}1/24.9.28., we have ascertained that Hoopers can alter the scuttle of the sedanca for 14-G-4 that they are building, for the sum of about £15. We have therefore asked them to do this as we consider it is worth while, to avoid making another car which R.{Sir Henry Royce} does not like. Would Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} kindly note this and arrange for the chassis to be made accordingly. We are forwarding to Hoopers particulars of the new shape of dashboard immediately. We presume you will have no objections to this expenditure in view of R's remarks concerning 12-G-4. Would you kindly arrange for Hoopers to have an official instruction to carry out the extra work.
