On the satisfactory performance of a malleable iron steering box fitted to vehicle 32.EX.

The malleable iron steering box as fitted to 32.EX has up to the present mileage been absolutely satisfactory. We have had no leaks from the centre joint and have no reason to suppose that it will. It certainly seems a stronger job, and less liable to distortion under severe strain than the previous boxes we have had, but we consider that the box should do at least another 5.000 miles before we give a conclusive opinion. ------------ H.{Arthur M.
