Derby, England Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/R.{Sir Henry Royce} - 2 Dear Mr. Robotham: In accordance with your recent memorandum reference RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/R.{Sir Henry Royce} please be advised of the following major changes in our six cylinder models since the purchase of your last Oldsmobile: Increased Counterbalancing of Crankshaft Lighter Connecting Rods Aluminum Pistons Full Length Water Jacket Larger Capacity Dual Oil Rings Vacuum Controlled Distributor Increased Displacement Increased Horsepower Increased Cylinder Bore Lower Axle Ratio Larger Tires Rear Axle Shaft With Integral Hub Dual Ride Stabilizers I-Beam Section Frame X-Member Cast Iron Brake Drums Triple Joint Propeller Shaft Longer Wheelbase In reference to our main bearings, please note that additional crankshaft counter-balancing together with decreased reciprocating weights and lower engine speeds has resulted in a marked improvement of bearing life.
