Rm{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/R.{Sir Henry Royce} - 2

Dear Mr. Robotham:

In accordance with your recent memorandum reference RM{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}18/R.{Sir Henry Royce} please be advised of the following major changes in our six cylinder models since the purchase of your last Oldsmobile:

Increased Counterbalancing of Crankshaft
Lighter Connecting Rods
Aluminum Pistons
Full Length Water Jacket
Larger Capacity Dual Oil Rings
Vacuum Controlled Distributor
Increased Displacement
Increased Horsepower
Increased Cylinder Bore
Lower Axle Ratio
Larger Tires
Rear Axle Shaft With Integral Hub
Dual Ride Stabilizers
I-Beam Section Frame X-Member
Cast Iron Brake Drums
Triple Joint Propeller Shaft
Longer Wheelbase

In reference to our main bearings, please note that additional crankshaft counter-balancing together with decreased reciprocating weights and lower engine speeds has resulted in a marked improvement of bearing life.

We trust that this will satisfactorily cover your inquiry and we shall be glad to furnish additional information upon request.

Very truly yours,
