Re. CRESSWELL BRAKE LINING.

We have thoroughly tested the sample lining received for Phantom II.

We are not further interested in them.

(1) The chief fault is very bad squealing and groans having developed quickly.

(2) Braking efficiency falls when hot at high speeds. (not up to our present brake linings.)

Their claim is justified for wet brakes not loosing their efficiency.
