Dear Sir,

I am in receipt of your letter of February 23rd.

It is quite understood that the fitting of the transmitter to the Bentley is in the nature of a spare time job and I have arranged with Mr. Robotham that we shall get all the necessary parts ready to fit to the car so that it is kept out of commission for as short a time as possible.

I am sending you a general arrangement drawing of the transmitter and epicyclic gear for reverse as fitted to a Humber Snipe chassis and propose approximately the same lay-out for the Bentley. The epicyclic reverse gear box will probably have to be altered to accomodate the drive for the Servo mechanism.

The transmitter to be fitted to the Bentley will be the same as that shown on the drawing with the exception that certain of the blade angles may be altered. We should be interested to see the power curves of the Bentley engine.

The principles of the transmitter are described in the enclosed copy of a paper read by Professor Lea before the British Association.

Yours faithfully

Managing Director.
