For the attention of Mr. J.S.H. Moore. Dear Sirs, We thank you for your letter of the 17th inst. concerning the fitting of one of your hydraulic transmitters to a Bentley car. The matter is already in hand, but we are sure that you will appreciate that it is in the nature of a spare-time job. It may therefore be a matter of two or three weeks before we can supply you with all the necessary information. Meanwhile, we should be interested to learn the principle of the transmitter, and to see drawings of a unit of similar size to that required for our engine which develops 130 B.H.P. at 2750 R.P.M. Yours faithfully, for Rolls-Royce Limited. | ||
