We beg to thank you for your letter of Dept 8th to hand this morning; your remarks concerning these oils are of great interest to us & we shall be very glad to hear the results of your proposed tests with lubricants containing a greater percentage of free fatty acids.
The further information concerning viscosities will enable us to make the comparisons we require;- we may write you further on the matter in a few days.
We note you propose to alter the body of your B gear oil; [crossed out: the decision] & your German opinion on this is in accordance with our own as we have found it advisable to mix A & B in varying proportions to suit temperature conditions.
