| X967 9.9.12 2800 Copy of letter from Price's re VACUUM OIL, dated Aug.14 We refer again to your favour of 28th June with which you sent us three samples of oil viz. One of Vacuum Gear Oil. Two " " Engine oil. Before discussing these samples we think it right to explain that the delay in our report has been due partly to very extreme pressure on all hands here owing to the trouble arising out of the Dock Strike and the difficulty which we have had in providing necessary supplies for our manufacturing operations and otherwise on the temporary reduction of our Laboratory staff through the absence of members on Summer holidays.
