With reference to the suggested clutch in which tape is wound upon the clutch cone, Mr Royce says :- "This is still worth trying; it is very easily repaired." With reference to the cotton fabric cone clutch, Mr Royce says :- "Can we try this with the Renault stiff spring tongues for softer engagement. I now understand that woven fabric clutches are going ahead well, but there has been much [struck through: enough] inertia on this job."
