To WD.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} from DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} c. to-EFC. X3874 DA{Bernard Day - Chassis Design}6/AH12.11.1920. With reference to the sample showing the method of fastening clips to spring plates which, we believe, has been sent to us by Messrs. Woodhead for us to approve the rivitting. It is not the finish of the bolts and nuts on these clips that we object to, but we require them for strength as we find that rivits in this position always come adrift on the bumping rig. Therefore, if this sample has been sent us with the idea of our reverting from bolts to rivits we do not think we are prepared to agree. DA.{Bernard Day - Chassis Design} RECEIVED. NOV 13 1920 | ||
