REAR SHOCK DAMPERS. X 3461 B

With reference to By5/P27919, asking whether standard stamp-
ings, castings and jigs can now be got going for the rear shock
dampers, we have to give a tentative decision on this shortly.

As you are aware the petrol tanks after the first 75 chasses
are suitable for fitting rear shock absorbers when ready, but I am
not sure whether the rear axles will have the new bracket fitted
and the rear springs will be shortened on some chasses. Perhaps
you will confer with Mr. Day and clear this point up.
