X 3461 B With reference to By5/P27919, asking whether standard stamp- ings, castings and jigs can now be got going for the rear shock dampers, we have to give a tentative decision on this shortly. As you are aware the petrol tanks after the first 75 chasses are suitable for fitting rear shock absorbers when ready, but I am not sure whether the rear axles will have the new bracket fitted and the rear springs will be shortened on some chasses.
