To B.J. from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} X7430 Hsl/LG3.5.28. PHANTOM STEERING. Replying to BJ4/K2.5.28. The steering for present production which is recommended by R.{Sir Henry Royce} has already been standardised. The only alteration on this steering compared with the cars you are now receiving, is that the pendulum lever is made shorter. This arrangement was run 12,000 miles in France on 15-EX, and it was tested by CWB. and PN.{Mr Northey} A standardisation sheet for this modification is being signed up.
