Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} E.{Mr Elliott - Chief Engineer} from R.{Sir Henry Royce} c. to B.J. Wor.{Arthur Wormald - General Works Manager} +7080 R4/M29.12.27. EAC.7 - ALUM: ENGINE, TURBULENT HIGH COMP: 5/1, RUBBER SUSPENSION. X.7770 X.7005 X.7080 So far good, but with french petrol it detonates at slow speed, our carburetter being so good as to always give correct mixture. At the moment the engine has pre-ignitions with both ignitions on, and misfires with either singly at about 10 m.p.h. I believe it is mutual induction for the former, and oxidised plugs causing the latter. R.{Sir Henry Royce} | ||
