X.7070 X.3579 X.8070 X.7080 The Weir induction pipe was not made for EAC.14., but as a model of EAC.10., and was regarded rather as a means of obtaining sufficient length of pipe between the carb. and the manifold when the former was high enough up to clear the steering box. We are looking into the question of making a pipe of this form to suit EAC.14., and the present position of carburetter. Regarding the petrol head on EAC.10., between the autovac and the float chamber we shall have less than on EAC.14., but with the steering box down in the frame and the autovac moved higher up, and nearer the centre of the dash, there should still be sufficient for the maximum gradients likely to be encountered.
