The car in question has a restricted
lock so that direct measurement cannot be
made.
To take full advantage of this increase
of movement a new normal position allowing
larger bump movement should be adopted.
This will imply raising the front of the car
by approx. .750 to 1.00", and the maximum
stress of the springs for P.III will also be
increased, but not beyond the Packard figure.
A new rebound buffer and bracket
would be required for this suggestion.
