Actually this patent does not appear to be very useful. Hardness in ride is bound to be experienced if any gain is made from anti-rolling and controllability with this system. I did some investigation on very similar lines about 2 years ago. Attached is a copy of my letter to Lombard. I very nearly walked into George V this morning! However, my departure for Paris, which was to have been Monday, is post-poned indefinitely. The idea was to buy a Citroen 7-seater to learn something about torsion rods for suspension systems. At the moment it is felt that the Citroen would not give enough information. I wonder if you could in one of your magic methods procure a blue print of the torsion bar front system on the largest Citroen. If not, any information reits front suspension would be valuable. We believe the Chenard Walcker also uses longitudinal torsion rods. Perhaps you could get a catalogue of these. In fact, anything with torsion rods along the chassis is of great interest.
