Dear Sirs, This is to confirm that we now agree to your fitting one of your detachable hoods to the above car, and that in a day or so we will send you a layout shewing what we would like in the way of shape as well as particulars of the detail construction. The writer would be glad if you would inform him when the body is framed and is ready for panelling, when he will call to discuss with you the details of the sheet steel ironing that is necessary. We are enclosing herewith a print of the dashboard detail which will enable you to shape the scuttle face. As the screens are such an important feature, we would like you to prepare detailed designs of them so that the writer can go over them with you when next he is in Town. They will be indicated on N.Sch. 2516. which we are sending you in connection with the hood. The writer does not propose calling on you again until he hears that you are ready with the framed body. Yours faithfully, for ROLLS-ROYCE LTD. | ||
