4.B.50 - RUN TO BATH AND BACK.
---------------------------

This run damped my enthusiasm for this car in more senses than one.

There was a steady leak from the roof throughout the day, neither of the ventilating windows will shut, none of the door locks appear to function satisfactorily. The rear seats are most uncomfortable; you have already had to rectify one of the front seats. The stone guards are inadequate. I propose to take up these points with Ward during his visit.

The car runs very well, but there was little chance of using its performance in the wet weather.

The hydraulic jack handle fell down after we had hit a water splash at speed.

The spring squeaks are irritating and will have to be attended to when we fit the light allow drums.
