C.W. Ward. Esq.,
Messrs. Park Ward, Ltd.,
High Road - Willesden,
L O N D O N. N.W. 10.

Dear Ward,

Mr. Hives smashed 4.B.50 last week. He is very partial to this car since it has the best performance of any of our experimental chassis, and is anxious to have it repaired as soon as possible.

The rectification of the coachwork is more than we can tackle in Derby, and so we are sending it down to you.

If it is at all possible, Mr. Hives would like to have the wing arrangement to FL.170 fitted to this car rather than have the present type of wing repaired. We are sending down the lamps with the car.

We are not proposing to fit a bonnet having fixed side panels. Instead we should like to modify the existing bonnet to suit the wing.

Yours sincerely,

Encl.
Drawing PL.170.
