Dear Sirs,

re:- 5-B-4 - Experimental Saloon - Bentley.
----------------------------------

We would like you to fit a sheet aluminium running board on the lines described to you for the Experimental 5-B-4.

We suggest that you get this fitted up on a chassis very soon, so that we can try it for rigidity, etc.

We confirm also that you will then use Limpet on the body by scratching it up with a wire brush. (Handwritten note above 'use': reduce the) We thank you for offering to do this to remedy an error on the part of the Limpet suppliers.

We shall be interested to know whether you have fitted up the shield at the back of the dashboard to prevent heat and noise.

We suggest that we might try this up on another chassis you have in hand, so that it will be ready when the 5-B-4 chassis arrives. If it is not ready to be treated with Limpet when the plant spares are at your works, we can supply you with a material called "Seapak" for the same purpose.

Yours faithfully,

For BENTLEY MOTORS(1931) LTD.
