- 2 - bodies. I do not see any reason, however, why the virtues of one cannot be applied to the other, even although its shape and size may be different. A feature which requires our urgent attention so far as the chassis is concerned is the Exhaust boom periods. Although normally this may not be considered objectionable it is certainly very much aggravated and definitely objectionable when the cars are fitted with boomy type bodies. Although demonstrations have been made of improvements in this direction by fixing a different scheme of silencer, we understand from us. that this scheme is not satisfactory, but the importance of this point is fully appreciated by them and is having their urgent attention.
