To EY. from EFC. {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} c. EY/HEB. {H. Biraben} X4617S EFC {E. Fowler Clarke - Electrical Engineer} 2/T1.3.28. TWO-UNIT BATTERIES. X7735 Now that we shall be running experimental cars mostly with two unit rear of frame battery boxes and batteries, we shall have little opportunity left for completing our tests comparative tests of various special cells which are at present made up into a number of sandwich batteries in 12-volt units. As we have a number of these available and still in good working order, we think that it might be a good idea to obtain a number of 6-volt unit battery boxes. We suggest obtaining half a dozen from Messrs. P & R. {Sir Henry Royce} We can then remove the cells from the 12-volt units and make them up into 6-volt units which can be used on the cars which will be running, and enable us so to continue comparative tests of these cells under running conditions.
