Re: BENTLEY CHASSIS - STANDARDISATION SHEETS.

Kindly note the following Bentley Standardisation Sheets were completed during August :-

Title. Series where brought in. Chassis to Test.

Bifurcated rivetting of clutch linings. When available.
Stiffer brake torsion shafts in front axle. 'C' Production.

The following Standardisation Sheets are in course of circulation :-
Ransome & Marles rear axle pinion thrust race.
Improved starter dogs.
Terminal nuts and spring washers in place of spring clips on sparking plugs.
Starter motor magnet poles made in "Sankey's" Lohys iron.
Provision of two coils mounted on wheelcase with knurled nut terminals.
Sheet metal floorboards.
Dropped front crossmember.
Lightened type A.T. speedometer with larger trip and total mileage figures.
Locating plunger to prevent synchromesh parts rattling in the gearbox.
