For the attention of W.A. Robotham, Esq.,
Messrs. Rolls-Royce, Ltd.,
Experimental Dept.
Derby.

Dear Sirs,

Following the visit of our installation representative, Mr. Holt, this week, we confirm that we are at present preparing for you two samples of altered pressure balance connections, and also incorporating a new style of joint at the top of the glass tube.

These two alterations will be fully explained, and submitted to you for approval, before any change whatever is made in the standard gauges.

At the same time, there is another alteration which we are now working on, which we think will greatly facilitate the mounting of the gauge in the instrument board, as trouble has previously been experienced in this direction.

We remain, dear Sirs,
Yours faithfully, H.M. HOBSON, Ltd.,

F.P. Searight

Joint Managing Director.
