Exptl. Dept. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}/Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}17/KW. 7th May, 1934. R.{Sir Henry Royce} Summers, Esq., Cornist Hall, FLINT. Dear Dick, I was interested in your remarks with reference to Dunlop tyres the other day. I am rather interested in your views on India tyres because I have always thought they were rather good, and there is some discussion as to whether we should continue fitting them to the Bentley. Therefore if you could give me any written observations on their behaviour it would be very useful. I have sent off the voltage regulator without smelling insulation; the rubber gear lever knob will follow in due course. Yours sincerely, | ||
