Sr/VA4/ET.12.4.40 - 2 - Please explain to Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer} your opinion about the brakes and also the noise coming from the gear box, when in the overdrive. VA. P.S. Light whine on overdrive (forward drive) between 60 and 85 K.P.H. Transmission has a tendancy slightly to rattle. Clutch has improved with use. Servo tacky and groans at times. Light piston rattle when starting up from cold. Whine from side shaft when car is stationary. Should we modify the change speed and hand brake levers? Kellners may want levers modified (outwards) on Mr. Poberejsky's car (Cornich type body). | ||
