With regard to the battery indicator, he (R) said that I had not made this in accordance with his idea and had mistaken what he was after. He wanted a vessel containing liquid with a gas jet near the bottom which would blow up bubbles through the liquid and I am going to get one made. If we can get it to work he wants me to take out one to Le Canadèl which he wants to try on his 40/50 there.

I urged the automatic control that you were on but he did not seem to have given this matter serious consideration and I rather gathered that he had not yet seen what you had made.
