I am expecting to leave for U.S.A. on the "Queen Mary" on the 17th.

I shall probably be away from the Works nine weeks in all.

Owing to the smashes we have had with our cars, we have got 3.B.IV. ready for France, but we do not think Hancock can handle it yet. Possibly you could use it as a Demonstration Car, or do some useful running with it until Hancock is ready for it; anyhow, I shall leave you to fix this up with Hancock.

I am sorry that I shall miss you when you come to Derby, but do not forget to ring up Duffield 94 when you come and go and see Mrs. Rm.{William Robotham - Chief Engineer}
