The scheme for the motor as unfortunately to be revised. It appears that it was drawn under the impression that R.R. were prepared to increase the diameter of the flywheel ring, in order to obtain the required ratio. This cannot be done, and a new form of double-reduction gear, external to the motor, must be designed.

In respect of the switchbox, the probability is that the inside will be of Lucas design entirely, in an R.R. case, or a case of R.R. dimensions.
