CHASSIS BONNET LIFTING HANDLES. In view of the fact that bonnets will shortly be made without the sliding shutters, it is absolutely essential that simultaneously with this alteration we should fix a better method of lifting or closing the bonnets, as the only way the existing bonnets can be opened or closed (if fitted so as to avoid rattles, etc.) without using special tools or damaging one's fingers, is to make use of the holes in the bonnet when the shutters are open, to obtain a better grip of the bonnet sides.
