X.9790 - MAGNETO FOR EAC.2 ENGINE.

Herewith please receive copy of some notes we have made up with regard to magneto requirements for EAC.2 chassis, together with copies of the present tentative version of the specification of performance of a six-cylinder magneto with automatic advance for R.R. 40/50 car, which we are developing.

I shall be pleased to receive from any or all of you to whom this is addressed any remarks with reference to this matter which you like to convey to me, to which due consideration will be given in ensuing developments.

Will Wd.{Mr Wood/Mr Whitehead} kindly pass on a copy of the Notes to Messrs. Norths together with some preliminary remarks, also attached, together also with a copy of the specification in its present form.

Copies of these Notes and letters containing the equivalent of the preliminary remarks, have already been handed to ROY.{Sir Henry Royce} to be passed on respectively to the M.L. Co. and Lucas Elec. Co., and with the representatives of which firms, namely Mr. E.A. Watson of the M.L. and Dr. Turner of the Lucas Co. we have already had interviews, during which this matter was fully discussed.
