| X430 PRELIMINARY REMARKS IN CONNECTION WITH NOTES ON SIX-CYLINDER MAGNETO WITH AUTOMATIC ADVANCE FOR R.R. 40/50 CAR. A preliminary tentative specification of performance of six-cylinder magneto with automatic advance for R.R. 40/50 car has been formulated, copy of which is attached, but it is considered expedient also to provide some notes with reference to the specification, covering, for convenience of reference, the various points in a rather more simplified manner. The draft of this specification is not final, but will be subject to modifications, and perhaps additions, and in particular the figures therein given do not necess- arily represent those to be finally fixed upon, but in spite of this, the general idea of our requirements will not be affected.
