The performance of experimental batteries and proposed standardization.

Two of these experimental batteries having each covered 10,000 miles on experimental cars, and there having been no suggestion of any fault in any of the three batteries, still less any due to the nature of the containing case, it is proposed shortly, i.e. upon hearing further from the P & R Co. as to their success of their negotiations with the Exide Co., to circulate a standard-isation sheet for this feature.

The weight of the present standard P & R battery was 81 lbs. The weight of the battery in a one-piece six-compartment moulded cell case would be 84 lbs.
