With regard to your query as to what we get out of tyres, following on memo Roy. {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} 5/PB.26.5.39, we attach a copy of memo Roy {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} /Les,4/ER.12.4.39 which was sent to Roy. {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} and which contained a summary of the true position. It will be seen that neither the IndiaProduction 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes nor the Dunlop 4-ply quoted by Roy. {Mr H. Royce - Buyer} can possibly be used because both failed on Continental tests. The cheapest 6-ply is IndiaProduction 20 HP. with 4-speed box and Front Wheel Brakes which is 4/- per tyre more than the Avon. Unless Roy {Mr H.
