-2- From this, you will see that your success in expediting the chassis programme, is really the cause of some of the chassis having to wait for the bodies, but at the same time, I am sure that the Experimental Department will be able to take advantage of the delivery of chassis having been expedited, as they will doubtless be able to do a certain amount of useful work both on and off the road with the chassis prior to the receipt of the bodies. I understand, for instance, the WW. are very anxious to see a chassis in chassis form, and they will doubtless now have this opportunity. The position at the moment in regard to bodies for the 4th, 5th and 6th, is that we hope to have the bodies for the 4th and 5th ready by the 25th January, and the 6th by the 30th January, and I am afraid it is not possible to improve on these dates even with the aid of overtime.
