Sg.{Arthur F. Sidgreaves - MD} from Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} c. PN.{Mr Northey} 87960. Hs{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair}3/AML1.8.31. With regard to the shock absorbers fitted to 58-GN, we find that these are not set according to our latest standard for low rating springs. We are therefore arranging to send another pair of rear dampers out with PN.{Mr Northey} on 25-EX car. We understand from him that he will most probably be meeting you in Switzerland and we are instructing the mechanic who is going with PN.{Mr Northey} to fit these shock absorbers if you wish it. If you have a criticism as regards the shock absorbers on your present car, we will much prefer to alter the adjustment of the hydraulics then to run with the additional Hartfords. If you have no criticism then we should say that it would be best not to touch the present dampers. Hs.{Lord Ernest Hives - Chair} | ||
