SALES DIRECTOR'S OFFICE.

9th June 1939.

W.A. Robotham Esq.,
Messrs. Roll-Royce Ltd.
DERBY.

Dear Mr. Robotham,

In the first place many thanks for your courtesy and hospitality during my visit yesterday.

Heater: I enclose impression of my note sent today for the attention of Mr. Leslie, which is self explanatory. For the reasons mentioned I just dare not countenance saddling the Factory with further work in this department.

Thanks so much for your considerate attitude which is much appreciated; may I still venture to hope that you will be interested in our own design?

Instruments: I have pleasure in confirming that in the case of the pair of instruments under notice, i.e., a quantity of 300, we will invoice on the basis of the revised prices agreed in 1937 on the understanding, of course, that you will very kindly continue to favour us with your hundred percent support for your requirements.

Cont'd...
