RP 81 S. SMITH & SONS (Motor Accessories) LTD. CRICKLEWOOD WORKS, LONDON, N.W.2. CONTINUATION NO 1. W.A. Robotham Esq., 9th June 1939. Your proposal that we should consider the question of preparing a set of Instruments costing approximately 20 per-cent less than the present range is having careful attention. It is understood that it is permissible, in this connection, to submit, if necessary, alternatives to the A.T. Instruments to you, but you are of opinion that the outward appearance and finish should not be in any way inferior. As explained during our conversation, the A.T. Instruments, because of their method of construction and design, are necessarily costly and as I know that on the present basis the business is unremunerative, we may be compelled to submit alternatives. Thanking you in anticipation of your continued support. [STAMP: RECEIVED 14 JUN 1939] Sincerely yours, Charles Whamond. | ||
